About Us

The society seeks to protect, advance and safeguard the rights and interests of its members by enhancing their capacity to detect infringements, file complaints, create awareness and generally fight counterfeiting on behalf of their appointing authorities (IP Right Owners).

We draw our membership from active IP professionals, registered patent or trademark attorney, law enforcement officers whose primary function relate to intellectual property rights and students undertaking relevant courses in Kenya.

    IPRASK supports IP professionals and advances an effective and balanced intellectual property system through advocacy, education, training, and community outreach.​

  • CORE PURPOSE

    To support IP professionals, foster creativity, and promote an effective and balanced intellectual property system.

    • Eligibility To Join IPRASK

    • Any person over the age of eighteen years shall be eligible for membership of the society and shall, subject to approval of the committee and fulfilling the requisite conditions, become a member on payment of a stipulated fee
    • Any registered entity that carries on the business of Intellectual Property Rights and which is registered as such in the Republic of Kenya shall be eligible for membership of the society and shall, subject to approval of the committee, become a member on payment of a stipulated fee
